Examination rules — read before you start
The test opens in full screen. Leaving full screen, switching tabs,
switching apps or minimising the window counts as a violation.
You are allowed 3 violations. On the
last one your paper is submitted automatically with whatever you have
written.
Answers must be typed by you. Pasting or dragging text in from anywhere
outside this page is blocked and every attempt is reported to your instructor.
Cut, copy and paste still work inside the test, so you can move your own
paragraphs around — use the ✂ ⧉ 📋 buttons or Ctrl+X / Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V.
Use the toolbar for headings, bold, italic, lists and tables;
the Ω button for symbols and √x for equations.
For a diagram you have two choices: ✏ draws one here with your mouse,
trackpad, finger or stylus, or 🖼 uploads a photo of one you drew on
paper. Drawing here is the simpler of the two — it never leaves this page.
Opening the table, symbol, equation or drawing tool is never a
violation. Choosing a photo to upload opens your computer's file window, and
that is not counted against you either — but it is noted, so do not treat it as
an opportunity to look at anything else.
Every keystroke is saved to the server as you write. If you refresh or lose
connection briefly, reopen this page on the same browser to carry on
with the remaining time. If that device will not come back, tell your
instructor — they can let you resume on another one.
The timer starts when you press Start Test and never pauses.
Right-click, printing and developer shortcuts are disabled.
